The Irkutsk region's exposition stand at the RUSSIA EXPO has been updated
Ice is melting on Lake Baikal, but the Irkutsk region's stand at the International RUSSIA EXPO has already thawed. The stands of all Russian regions, located in Pavilion No. 75 at VDNH, have changed their decorations and set a course for summer.
From the very beginning of the RUSSIA EXPO, Irkutsk exposition with the area of more than 100 square meters was based on the Baikal ice: its image was placed on the floor, inside the wooden portal in the center of the exposition on a large-scale video wall. Now the visitors of the Angara region stand will see the image of transparent Baikal water and rocks under their feet.
The photo zone has also changed: now everyone can make a photo in jade and charoite boots against the background of the summer Baikal landscape. In winter, an ice grotto was depicted there.
"The stand of the Irkutsk region hosts daily events that introduce visitors to the cultural traditions of the region: informative lectures and masterclasses. Our guests of all ages take part in them with pleasure. More than 60 thousand people have already visited the exposition since the beginning of the RUSSIA EXPO. Here they can learn about the region's achievements in various spheres, make a virtual dive into the depths of Lake Baikal and much more. Recently four monophones have been installed at the stand, through which you can listen to musical compositions about the Irkutsk region,"
