We will evangelize on the Sunday of Christ," said theologian, historian, teacher of the Sunday school of the CCS, the host of the concert program Sergei Tsybulsky.

The liturgical singing tradition of the Patriarchal Choir of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior dates back many centuries. The very first musical act was performed at the divine service on May 26 (June 7), 1883, when the solemn consecration of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior took place. Today the Patriarchal Choir is the brightest representative of all modern Orthodox music. The Choir has an audience of many millions thanks to the services that are broadcast on television. In addition, the Orthodox group is engaged in active concert and educational activities both in Russia and abroad.

A rich program has been prepared for the Exposition guests on the festive day. In the Department Store zone of the “Regions of Russia” Pavilion an Easter Fair was held throughout the day, where visitors were offered to buy carved icons, elegant tablecloths, souvenir ceramic eggs, delicious kulichi (Easter cakes) and Easter gingerbread, painted matryoshka dolls and toys, designer scarves and kitchen sets, which will give the holiday a unique touch of warmth and heartiness.
