Employees of the excursion service of the RUSSIA EXPO got married at the Exposition
A special wedding ceremony took place on the summer veranda
of the House of Culture Pavilion at VDNH: employees of the excursion service of
the RUSSIA EXPO from Rosmolodezh's "More Than a Trip" program became
husband and wife.
The happy newlyweds were Ivan Vetrov and Maria Goltsman — a
couple of like-minded travelers who met in 2016 and have been inseparable ever
since. Their first trip together was to Crimea when the guys turned 18. Since
then, the sweethearts have visited many regions of our country, and their
passion for traveling even inspired them to create an author themed project
"Not on Steam". The marriage
proposal was also connected with traveling — Ivan made it to his beloved as
part of a blog tour of Adygea.
The couple has been working at the RUSSIA EXPO since the
first day of its opening; Ivan heads the block of work with tour guides, and
Maria coordinates the tour support. No wonder that the young people decided to
get married here too.
"We have already taken part in organizing a large number
of weddings at the RUSSIA EXPO, and now we have tied our lives to this place
ourselves. We will definitely not forget such a wedding, it will be the most
vivid memory," said Ivan.
"It's really very bright and unusual. I initially
thought that only our relatives would be at our wedding, but when the
opportunity arose, it would have been a shame not to take advantage of it. We
are very happy," Maria added.
The secluded summer veranda, where the wedding ceremony took
place, was decorated in a style close to the spirit of the newlyweds. Light and
airy elements of the arch and guest area were decorated with floral
arrangements, mirror elements and paper airplanes symbolizing lightness and
airiness. A special decoration of the ceremony was the opening performance from
the ballerina dance group. The young people were also presented with memorable
gifts and a traditional piece of the symbolic All-Russian Family Hearth, which
was lit at the Exposition on January 23 on the occasion of the launch of the
Year of the Family.
"I have known you for quite some time, and I am very
glad that you shared this important day with us. I wish that as you walk
through life together now, you continue hand in hand towards your dreams and
goals. I must honestly say that you are representatives of our talented modern
youth, and when I first met you, I was amazed at how much you had already
achieved and how great you are," said Yulia Stoyanova, Project Manager of
the RUSSIA EXPO.
The couple was also congratulated on their legal marriage by
representatives of the projects of Russian Railways Tour LLC, regional stands
of the Exposition and the House of Russian Cuisine. In particular, RZD Tour LLC
presented a certificate for a railroad cruise on the RZD holding's tourist
train "On the Golden Ring". The newlyweds were also given a
"Basket of Russia" with memorable gifts from the regional stands of
the Exposition. In its turn, the House of Russian Cuisine prepared an evening
program with a buffet for the newlyweds and their guests.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important
achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the Exposition,
cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The
expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and
public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 17 million people
have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place
on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
One of the tracks of the Open Dialogue is "Investments in Human Capital." The pitch session on this topic brought together over 30 speakers.
One of the key topics for discussion within the initiative became "Investments in Connectivity," which attracted 24% of the essay authors about the future of the world.
