Main tourist projects of the country presented at the RUSSIA EXPO
The presentation of key investment projects in the tourism sector took place at the International RUSSIA EXPO as part of the Construction Day. Tourism.RF Corporation presented six different resorts, tourist clusters and territories.
In particular, Tourism.RF spoke about the first in 30 years all-season balneological resort Belokurikha Mountain in the Altai region, which is scheduled to open in 2027. Several hotel complexes, an aqua-thermal resort and a spa hotel will be built there - the resort will be able to accommodate 1160 people. The planned tourist flow by 2030 will amount to more than 211 thousand people.
Another tourist area, which is planned to be completed by 2027, is Aina Valley in the Sakhalin region. It will become the largest resort in the Far East, which will attract not only tourists from all over Russia, but also from Asian countries. A concert and sports complex, as well as several hotels, chalets and townhouses will be built here. For instance, the Aina Valley will have a five-star hotel with a spa complex and an outdoor pool and a bath complex with an outdoor heated pool overlooking the mountains. The tourist area is located close to other Far East hotspots - guests will be able to fish for oysters on Lake Busse or visit the rookery of Steller sea lions in Nevelsk. It is expected that by 2030, 635 thousand people a year will travel here.
In addition, the corporation presented the Three Volcanoes Park, which will be located in Kamchatka. Here they will build a tourist village Sopka Goryachaya (Hot Hill) with hotels and ski infrastructure. Roads and communications will be brought here, and in the future tourist routes will be developed - not far from the active volcanoes. All stages of the project will be completed by 2030, and it will be possible to welcome the first tourists in 2027.
The first ethnographic resort Baikal Sloboda will be created in the Irkutsk region. According to the project plan, there will be a yacht club and a harbor for 450 yachts, a restaurant near the lighthouse, a handicraft village, townhouses and cottages. The aim of the project is to create a new all-season tourist and recreational facility by 2035 to attract attention to the region as one of the main tourist destinations in Russia, to provide local residents and tourists with quality infrastructure and to develop the tourism industry.
The guests of the event were also told about the tourist territory Kazan Marina, which will be created on the shore of the Kuibyshev Reservoir in Tatarstan. Several hotels and a marina for 300 yachts will appear here. Another new attraction point is the New Anapa beach resort.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. During the entire time of the Exposition, guests are welcomed by cultural events, a rich business and educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors.
