RUSSIA EXPO hosted the final of the vocal contest "Studvesna.Voice"
The Main Street Stage of the Exposition hosted ten young and
talented contestants who had passed the qualifying auditions and semi-finals of
the "Studvesna.Voice" (lit. "Student Spring.Voice")
contest.
"Studvesna.Voice" is an opportunity for young
creative Muscovites to make themselves known, demonstrate their talent and
start the path to the career of a real artist. About 150 schoolchildren and
students of the city who can't imagine their life without music took part in
the contest. In the finals, the future stars of Russian charts performed
excerpts from the best compositions of their repertoire in the format of a
vocal ring.
The most creative students of Moscow were evaluated by the
singer, blogger K. KRASH, lead singer of the bands GUN CAN RUN and "Natasha
Rostova's First Ball" Andrei Fedotov, singer, musician, creator of the
project "Hélène et les Garçons" Elena Lipaeva, CEO of the production
centre "Debut", expert of the festival "Russian Student
Spring" Sergei Kharin, host and producer of Russian radio stations and TV
channel "MuzTV" Artem Adamov, as well as artist, songwriter, expert
of the All-Russian youth festival of author's song "Execute" Sasha
Nguyen.
"You know — when we watched this concert, I really
wanted some of our stars to come here. Because when I ask "Alice" to
play the latest hits for me in the morning, I end up turning off the speaker
after just 10 minutes, realizing that many of our stars can't sing as
beautifully as these girls who are standing here in the finals. Admit it, it's
true. They should come and learn how to perform on stage. So, girls, may
everything go well in your lives," said Sergei Kharin.
Elena Lipaeva, singer, musician, creator of the project
"Hélène et les Garçons", admitted that it was difficult to evaluate
the participants.
"It was a real concert, and it was very difficult to
choose— and I think that the guys will support me. Because you are all
wonderful, completely different, each of you is an individual. And I would like
to ask you not to pay attention to the evaluations. Because we are in a
competition, so someone had to be chosen, but that doesn't mean that all the
others are worse. I'm sure you all have a great vocal future. I wish everything
to work out on the way, well done," added Elena Lipaeva.
According to the results of the experts' voting, five
participants made it to the super final, but only one of them became the
absolute winner of the contest. The loudest and longest applause, as well as
the opportunity to create and record their own hit song together with the
"Moscow Student Spring" went to Anastasia Zinkovich, a graduate of
Lomonosov Moscow State University, who graduated from music school with honors.
In addition to her studies, the girl has been practicing ballroom dancing for
15 years and has a CMS title in this sport. Anastasia presented her own musical
compositions to the jury.
"I want to say thank you very much, I didn't expect it
at all! I took three author's songs to "Studvesna.Voice", but I
didn't know if they would work or not, if they would be liked or not. And I'm
extremely happy that they did. Thank you very much to the jury members, I am in
shock," Anastasia couldn't hold back her emotions.
The vocal contest "Studvesna.Voice" is a special
project of "Moscow Student Spring", a city festival, which annually
opens an opportunity for five thousand young performers to declare their
creativity on the capital's stages and is a regional stage of the only in the
country program of support and development of non-professional youth creativity
"Russian Student Spring". In the capital of Russia, both Student
Spring and the vocal contest "Studvesna.Voice" are realized by the
Moscow Youth Project and the Russian Union of Youth with the support of the
Moscow Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy.
