The show, titled "Russian Style: Rite", was presented as a dramatic performance in four parts: mourning, birth, change of status and life manifesto. Through costumes and music, the designers illustrated the perception of these significant events in the life of a Russian woman.

"This is not a fashion show in the usual sense  it's more of a theatrical performance. Its four parts tell the story of how modern Russian women are perceived by designers, reinterpreting the cultural code through clothing and music," said the event's host, Ekaterina Arkalova, to the guests.

The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 16 million people have already visited the Exposition.
