On June 23, an event was held at the International RUSSIA EXPO to support the residents of Sevastopol who were subjected to massive shelling.

Employees and guests of the Exposition observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims and conveyed words of support and compassion to the injured. As a sign of solidarity and admiration for the courage and fortitude of Sevastopol residents, the Exposition played the city anthem "Legendary Sevastopol" and the composition "Cranes" performed by the Military Band of the Sevastopol Regiment of the Southern Order of Zhukov District of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation.

June 24 has been declared a day of mourning in Crimea. "In difficult moments Sevastopol residents have always shown cohesion, unity and strength. Sevastopol is grieving. Together with us all Russia is mourning," said Evgeny Boytsov, Deputy Head of the Department of Cultural Policy and Art Development of the Department of Culture of the city of Sevastopol.
