RUSSIA EXPO held a ceremony to thank its participants
The International RUSSIA EXPO held a ceremony to thank all those who worked at the Exposition — representatives of regions, federal authorities, public organizations and corporations, and the media.
Sergei
Kiriyenko, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the RUSSIA EXPO, speaking
before the ceremony participants, noted that the Exposition was among the ten
most visited places on the planet — more than 18 million people had become its
guests.
"You know, I have now looked at the global rankings of the most visited places in the world. The RUSSIA EXPO has entered the top ten most visited places on our planet during this time," Sergei Kiriyenko emphasized and presented awards to representatives of the regions whose stands were presented in Pavilion No. 75.
Denis Pushilin, Head of the Donetsk People's Republic, noted the hype and attention shown by the guests to the region's stand.
"It was very important for us to bring life back home, to show the whole country what Donbass is. It was great to feel the colossal support, at all events we noted sincere excitement and attention. Over these long years, we have learned to feel sincerity, and it was present at the Exposition. How much new we learned about our country! I express my immense gratitude to all the organizers and our President," said Denis Pushilin.
Memorable statuettes were presented to representatives of federal authorities, public organizations and the largest companies of the country by Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Executive Office Maxim Oreshkin.
"Such a great event is coming to an end. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone, because this Exposition was a success. We are awarding those who made a great contribution to the Exposition. It was not only those who were directly on the site who worked on it, but also the staff of ministries, companies and large teams of those who created everything we have witnessed over these many months. So, once again, a big thank you to everyone," Maxim Oreshkin said.
Many Russian residents learned about the achievements presented at the RUSSIA EXPO without visiting it thanks to the media - journalists covered more than a thousand events every month. The cumulative coverage of publications in the media and social networks about the Exposition exceeded more than 65 billion, which is eight times the world's population.
Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO, and Alexei Zharich, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Directorate for Social Projects, thanked the journalists for their work.
Natalia Virtuozova noted that the record number of visitors to the Exposition - more than 18 million people - would not have been possible without the participation of journalists. "Media representatives from all over the country have gathered here today. Thank you very much, this number of visitors would not have been possible without you. A low bow to you for your grandiose work and for telling about our Exposition with heart," she said.
"The RUSSIA EXPO is a grand event not only for our country, but for the whole planet. We have opened the eyes, first of all, of ourselves, the citizens of Russia. Even the most remote regions of our country have seen the Exposition, it was possible thanks to you," said Alexei Zharich.
Kirill Kleimenov, Deputy Director General of Channel One, Director of the News Program Directorate, expressed his gratitude to the Exposition organizers, volunteers and colleagues.
"Those who have children know what a joy it is to discover new talents in them and what a tremendous happiness it brings. And here, it's the same with the country. It's not just one aspect or one talent — there are a great many. And this fills the heart with an immeasurable joy. And for this joy, I want to say 'thank you' to the organizing committee, Natalia Sergeevna Virtuozova, and her wonderful team who have done so much to make all this happen. To the volunteers and everyone who was involved in this miracle — including, of course, our colleagues who ensured that the whole country learned about it," said Kirill Kleimenov.
The International RUSSIA EXPO showcases the most important achievements of the country in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests.
