RUSSIA EXPO held a commemorative event in honor of the anniversary of the Great Patriotic War
On June 21, the RUSSIA EXPO joined the mass campaign "Fire Paintings of War", which was held as part of the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow: 83 years ago, on June 22, 1941, the Great Patriotic War began. The participants laid out a picture out of lamps, which symbolizes the contribution of the front and rear to the Great Victory, and also created a large-scale inscription "Russia Remembers" out of lights.
The painting was based on a part of the stamp "The Road to Victory. Home Front Workers", issued in 2020. As part of the commemorative campaign, volunteers read out the stories of ordinary residents, representatives of working professions, who were affected by the war in its first minutes.
The Association "Valery Khalilov Wind Society" and Victory Volunteers joined the campaign. The event was accompanied by the brass band " Virtuosos" of the Centre for Creative Development and Musical and Aesthetic Education of Children and Youth "Radost" ("Joy") from Moscow. Among the pieces performed by the young musicians were the march "Farewell of Slavianka", "Patriotic Song" by Mikhail Glinka and others.
Music is capable of becoming the voice of nature and connecting ancient traditions with modern art.
The All-Russian "Memory Wall" campaign, timed to coincide with the 81st anniversary of Victory, has been launched at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Dance is capable of uniting people just like music and words: without translation, immediately at the level of feelings.
