Parade of national costumes was held at the RUSSIA EXPO
On July 7,
at the International RUSSIA EXPO, the Parade of National Costumes took place on
the Main Street Stage as part of the "Beauty of Russia — 30 Years of
Reflecting the Russian Soul" festival. Contestants and winners from
previous years participated in the event.
The parade
allowed the audience to immerse themselves in the country's rich cultural
heritage and discover the possibilities of using traditional materials and
techniques in modern clothing.
“It is a
great honor for us to perform at the Exposition venue. Today, everyone present
will be able to see national costumes representing completely different regions
of Russia. They will be showcased by the brightest and most beautiful girls of
our vast country!” emphasized Tatyana Andreeva-Falk, Director General of the
“Beauty of Russia” ("Krasa Rossii") festival.
"Krasa
Rossii" is a beauty pageant held in the country since 1995. Finalists
represented Russia at the "Miss World" pageant until 2006, at the
"Miss International" pageant, and since 2009, at the "Miss
Earth" pageant.
This year
marks the 30th anniversary of "Krasa Rossii", and the most beautiful
girls of our country, as well as the winners of regional selections, will
compete for the right to participate in the finals. The participant awarded the
title "Krasa Rossii — 2024" will go on to represent Russia at the
"Miss Earth — 2025" International Beauty Pageant.
