Works by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff were performed at the RUSSIA EXPO
At the RUSSIA EXPO, guests heard folk songs as well as works by Russian composers: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Pavel Chesnokov, performed by the Bolshoi Theater Choir.
The performance began with three numbers from the "All-Night Vigil". A large mixed choir participated in the cultural event. The concert concluded with cheerful folk songs.
The Bolshoi Theater Choir is a unique ensemble of top-level professionals, preserving the unparalleled creative heritage of the Bolshoi Theater. Since 2003, the choir has been led by People's Artist of Russia Valery Borisov. The ensemble has received numerous awards, including the Golden Mask and International Opera Awards.
The International RUSSIA EXPO showcases the country's most significant achievements all in one place. Throughout the duration of the Exposition, guests can enjoy cultural events, a rich business and educational program. The International RUSSIA EXPO is being held at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
