The RUSSIA EXPO hosted the "At the Call of a Woman's Heart" award ceremony
The RUSSIA
EXPO is hosting the Russian Women's Forum "Women: Preserving Traditions -
Developing Russia". On March 5, the award "At the Call of a Woman's
Heart" was presented. The prizes were given to 10 winners who achieved
significant results in one of the priority areas of the award - support for the
participants of the SMO, preservation of traditions and breakthrough
development, strengthening of the family, and development of the social sphere.
Valentina
Matvienko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the
Russian Federation, addressed the winners. She noted that recent years have
been marked by profound positive changes in the attitude of the authorities and
society to the role and mission of women in Russia.
"On
the instructions of the head of state, the National Strategy of Actions for
Women has been adopted and is being implemented, a comprehensive system of
support for families and children, development of the institution of motherhood
and childhood has been built. The President's decision to declare this year in
Russia the Year of the Family and to define the status of a large family - I
know how long the regions have been waiting for these steps," Valentina
Matvienko emphasized.
She also
focused attention on the measures announced by Vladimir Putin during his recent
address to the Federal Assembly. In particular - on the launch of the national
project "Family", programs to protect motherhood, health of children
and adolescents, support for young people. All this, as it was noted by the
Chairwoman of the Federation Council, demonstrates the systemic,
socially-oriented nature of the policy pursued by the President, and makes it
possible to provide even more care and attention to Russian citizens of all
ages. Returning to the subject of the meeting directly, Valentina Matvienko
emphasized that the Exposition these days has managed to form a very fruitful
and bright atmosphere of the upcoming holiday.
"All
our regions present on their stands the achievements of our women, and they are
unique. Each of the 14 display pavilions has turned into a space of beauty,
harmony, live all-Russian women's dialog, to which we have invited hundreds of
talented women leaders from all over the country," said the speaker.
The subject
of special attention of the Russian authorities, including top leaders, to the
problems of protecting the participants of the special military operation and
their loved ones was raised in her speech by Anna Tsivileva, Chairwoman of the
State Foundation "Defenders of the Fatherland".
"It is
symbolic that we have the honor to represent the nomination "Together to
Victory", as we are the fund, which was established by Presidential Decree
and is designed to help our veterans of the military operation to socialize and
return to a peaceful life. In addition, we also support the families of fallen
servicemen. It is very pleasant to see in the hall a large number of female
employees of our fund - they are mothers, wives, widows of soldiers. I want to
express my gratitude for their work and their support," said Anna
Tsivileva.
Words of
gratitude to the women of Russia for their caring attitude were voiced by
Vladimir Mashkov - People's Artist of the Russian Federation, co-chairman of
the Election Headquarters of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"No
humanitarian mission today goes without your keen participation. Thank you so
much for everything you are doing for our great country, doing for the citizens
and families of Novorossiya, for the servicemen and their families. May the
love and goodness that you share with the world every day multiply in your
lives," summarized Vladimir Mashkov.
Women
define the world not only today, but also tomorrow, said Maryana Lysenko,
co-chair of the Presidential Election Headquarters, chief physician of Moscow
City Clinical Hospital No. 52.
"It is
a great honor to be in a hall filled with immensely talented and beautiful
women, who indifferently transform the world around them, making it better.
Because it is the woman who determines the future, gives birth to it. A woman's
heart is always filled with kindness, warmth, love, patience," she
expressed her opinion.
During the
ceremony, awards were presented in a number of nominations. Among them, in the
nomination "Memory of the Heart" - to Natalia Spirina from the
Murmansk region, in the nomination "Together to Victory" - to Anna
Orach from the Omsk region, in the nomination "Deed! - to Zlata Alekhina
from the Belgorod region, in the nomination "Voice of Truth" - to
Olesya Potapova from the Lugansk region, in the nomination "Preservation
of Traditions" - to Anna Bogadelina from the Ivanovo region, in the
nomination "Breakthrough!" - to Lyudmila Shcherbakova from Moscow, in
the nomination "Mom Can Do Anything!" - to Yulia Krasnova from
Zabaikalye, in the nomination "Family Strength" - to Olga Yazeva from
the Krasnoyarsk region, in the nomination "Faithfulness to
Profession" to Svetlana Drozhzhina from DPR, and in the nomination
"In the Fight for Life" to Svetlana Polyakova from the capital.
The contest
participants noted that the it has become an important event for the entire
female community of the country.
"For me, winning the contest is a great honor. I believe that we have a lot of women worthy of such awards. I am touched by the fact that they chose me as the winner," the winner Olga Yazeva emphasized after the event.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Visitors are presented expositions of 89 regions of Russia, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations. More than 7 million people have already visited the Exposition.
The first event to be held at the Russia National Centre, which is being established by the order of President Vladimir Putin, will be the International Science Fiction Symposium and Exhibition "Inventing the Future". The symposium will take place from November 4 to 6.
Tomorrow, the International RUSSIA EXPO will conclude its work. From November 2023 to July 2024, it was visited by more than 18 million guests.
Every day, for eight months, the RUSSIA EXPO delighted guests and gave unforgettable emotions.
