Closing ceremony of the All-Russian Festival of Sports Promotion Teams was held at the RUSSIA EXPO
On June 28,
the first All-Russian Festival of Sports Promotion Teams "Heroes of Sport
— Heroes of the Country" was summed up at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
The event was held in Pavilion No. 34 "Russian Space: Creating the
Future" in the lecture hall of the Russian Society "Knowledge",
which is the general partner of the educational program of the Exposition.
The
All-Russian Festival of Sports Promotion Teams "Heroes of Sport — Heroes
of the Country" united children's groups from different regions of Russia.
It takes place in Moscow from June 24 to 29. The event was organized on
the initiative of the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation.
Tatyana
Kolyaskina, Deputy Head of the Department of Propaganda and Media Relations of
the Ministry of Sport of Russia, addressed the participants with a welcoming
speech.
"Today
we will be awarding the best teams, and I want each of you to realize that your
personal start happened exactly at VDNH. Its almost 100-year history is
directly connected with the development of our state. If we compare our life
with the flight of a rocket, you are now passing the very first stage. And I
really want the festival to give an impetus to a greater life!" Tatyana
Kolyaskina stated.
As part of
the closing ceremony, sports promotion teams performed dance numbers to
patriotic songs. All of them were thematic in nature and were divided into six
nominations: "Energy of Unity", "Energy of Word",
"Energy of Movement", "Energy of Life", "Energy of
Thought", and "Energy of Family".
On 23 January, on the eve of Civil Servant’s Day, the second Znanie.State forum was held at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Training a new generation of public servants from among the nation’s heroes became one of the key topics of the second Znanie.State.
The Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation and President of the Russian Olympic Committee, Mikhail Degtyarev, spoke at the Znanie.State.
