Leading poets of the XXI century performed at the Exposition on the day of Pushkin’s 225th anniversary
On June 6, the birthday of Russian poet Alexander Pushkin,
the International RUSSIA EXPO hosted a music and poetry concert "Filatov
Fest. For Pushkin".
The music and poetry gala concert was dedicated to the tenth
anniversary of the largest all-Russian festival of young poetry named after
Leonid Filatov "Filatov Fest", founded by poet Vlad Malenko, and
timed to the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin.
"Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin is the major prophet of
all Russia. He told us everything and voiced us from alpha to omega. He kept
saying that he wanted to be like everyone else and speak the language spoken by
the people, not some nobility. Doing "Filatov Fest" for ten years, we
are always focusing on him, just as Leonid Alexeyevich Filatov did. Thanks to
everyone who came here today," said Vlad Malenko, Merited Art Worker of
the Russian Federation, founder and artistic director of the Moscow Poets
Theater.
The leading poets of the XXI century: modern classics Vlad
Malenko, Igor Karaulov and Dmitry Vodennikov, as well as young but already very
resonant voices of our time, winners and laureates of the festival
"Filatov Fest", took the stage of the Large Conference Hall in
Pavilion No. 75: Anna Dolgareva, Alexander Antipov, Roman Sorokin, Alyona
Sinitsa, Diana Nikiforova, Yegor Sergeyev, Polina Koritskaya, Sofia Yudina,
Vsevolod Volokolamsky and Nikita Melikhov. Django, Sergei Letov and Varya
Demidova performed their best musical compositions, also actress Anna Chepenko
performed her dedication to Alexander Pushkin.
"All Pushkin's friends are friends among themselves
too. I am very happy to see people who love Pushkin and "Filatov
Fest" in this hall today. These people won, because young modern poetry
sounded for them today from this stage," said the host of the event, poet,
actor of the Moscow Poets Theater of Vlad Malenko Roman Sorokin.
