Registration for the lecture "Academic Russia" at the National Centre RUSSIA has begun
Registration
has opened for the first lecture in "The Birth of Scale" series,
titled "Academic Russia." The event will focus on the structures
where Russian science is born and thrives. It will take place at the National
Centre RUSSIA on March 14, from 18:00 to 19:30. The moderator for all meetings
will be Yelizaveta Likhacheva, an art historian and architecture expert.
During the
lecture, attendees will learn about the evolution of educational institutions
in Russia — from the Slavic Greek Latin Academy, founded in 1687 as the first
step toward higher education in the country, to modern high-tech campuses of
the 21st century. Participants will also discuss how scientific buildings shape
the urban environment.
The speaker
will be Anton Tsybisov, chief architect of the creative agency
"Evolution." His professional perspective on architecture will help
guests of the National Centre RUSSIA gain a deeper understanding of how
buildings influence research activities and inspire new discoveries.
The event
is free to attend. Prior registration is required on the website of the
National Centre RUSSIA.
