The National Centre RUSSIA and the National Exposition Centre of the Republic of Belarus "BelExpo" signed an agreement on tourism development
National
Centre RUSSIA and the National Exposition Centre "BelExpo" of the
Administrative Affairs of the President of the Republic of Belarus signed an
agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism. Its aim is to develop the
tourism potential between the two countries and to demonstrate the closeness
and commonality of the peoples on historical, cultural, and spiritual levels.
As noted during the signing of the agreement by Natalia Virtuozova, Director
General of National Centre RUSSIA, the creation of joint tourist programs will
allow residents of Russia and the Republic of Belarus to rediscover the
brotherly countries. She also congratulated colleagues from the National
Exposition Centre "BelExpo" on the successful conduct of the
exposition "My Belarus," which widely utilized the experience of the
International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH in Moscow. Now, the centres will jointly
develop the tourism direction.
"The
potential of the two countries today is enormous, and both sides are ready to
accommodate a large mutual flow of tourists. On the eve of the 80th anniversary
of Victory, it is very important for us to remember the heroism of the
brotherly peoples through tourist routes to places of military glory. These
include both seven-day trips and weekend tours. We will create conditions for
our tourists to touch the great history and get to know each other
better," emphasized Natalia Virtuozova.
As part of
the agreement, the parties intend to develop unique excursion programs and
tourism products with thoughtful logistics and diverse themes.
In turn,
Sergei Baran, Director of the state enterprise "BelExpo," noted that
routes dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War
will be among the first to be developed this year. He added that the signed
agreement opens up great opportunities in the field of tourism for the Republic
of Belarus.
"Our
exposition of the achievements of sovereign Belarus 'My Belarus' turned out to
be bright and well-visited, partly thanks to the unique experience of the
International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH in Moscow. We continue cooperation with
National Centre RUSSIA, and the agreement in the field of tourism opens even
greater opportunities for us. We are very pleased that we have such a good and
warm partnership with our colleagues," noted Sergei Baran.
He emphasized that citizens from Russia are eager to visit the exposition "My Belarus." In turn, tourists from the Republic of Belarus are expected at the National Centre RUSSIA, where two new large-scale expositions will begin in March. The first is an architectural one, where visitors can learn about the traditions and modern approaches to construction. The second is an interactive exposition "Journey through Russia," which will allow guests to visit different corners of the country — from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad. Here, one can see the natural beauty and achievements of the last 20 years in various fields: industry, science, culture, and others.
The National Centre RUSSIA will host a series of presentations titled "Journey Across Russia's Gastronomic Festivals."
The National Centre RUSSIA today meets the needs of various professional communities for communication and exchange of experience.
During the tour of the expansive exposition, the Chairman of the Government highlighted the significance of the display.
