The National Centre RUSSIA announces enrolment in the Young Tour Guides School
On 28 August, the National Centre RUSSIA launched enrolment
in the "Young Tour Guides School of Russia". The project is aimed at
the career guidance of schoolchildren and helps children acquire the knowledge
and skills necessary for guiding activities.
The participants will learn the basics of guiding, take part
in workshops led by leading experts, undergo training in public speaking and
stage speech, develop their skills in working with information and texts, and
also try themselves as guides at the centre’s expositions.
The training will run from September to May: practical classes will be held in person on Sundays at the National Centre RUSSIA, while theoretical ones will take place online.
Children aged 12 to 17 are invited to
participate, and only those who successfully complete the competition task will
be admitted. Applications are open from 28 August to 14 September, the
competition stage will be held from 14 to 22 September, and classes are
scheduled to begin on 28 September. All graduates of the "Young Tour
Guides School of Russia" will receive certificates of completion.
Classes within the "Young Tour Guides School of
Russia" are conducted by professional interpreter-guides certified in
Moscow. Each of them has extensive experience in developing original routes and
leading tours for foreign guests in foreign languages, for government officials
and the President of the Russian Federation. The mentors have been recognised
with prestigious awards, commemorative medals of the President for their participation
in the World Youth Festival, as well as acknowledgements for their significant
contribution to the organisation of the International RUSSIA EXPO.

Professor, Honorary Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) in Bangladesh Mustafizur Rahman will be another international participant of the Open Dialogue.
On 27 August, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted a panel discussion organised by the EISR titled "Knowledge about the Country’s Achievements: To Whom and How Should It Be Properly Communicated?".
At the exposition "Region 2030. Platform of the Future" at the National Centre RUSSIA, the first week will be dedicated to the Days of the Republic of Dagestan.
