The Republic of Bashkortostan celebrates the 106th anniversary of its foundation on March 20. On this day in 1919, an Agreement between the central Soviet government and the Bashkir Government on Soviet Autonomous Bashkiria was signed in Moscow. According to this document, the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic appeared on the map of Russia. Today, the region's achievements and natural beauty are presented as part of the Volga Federal District at the "Journey Across Russia" exposition in the National Centre RUSSIA.

"President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin said that 'Bashkortostan, like a drop of water, reflects all of Russia with its diversity of cultures, religions, languages, and the friendship of peoples.' Bashkortostan is also one of the tourism centres of the Volga region. We have two geoparks, one of which was the first in the entire post-Soviet space to be included in the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network. Our republic has always been famous for its hospitality and warmth. Overall, the region has established itself as one of the leading industrial centres. In the industrial policy efficiency ranking, we are the best in the country. Bashkortostan is also among the leaders of the National Investment Ranking. We are actively developing tourism infrastructure and creating new attractions. And we invite everyone to visit Bashkortostan," emphasized the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov.

At the "Journey Across Russia" exposition in the National Centre RUSSIA, visitors can join a guided tour. It is recommended to book a 90-minute tour in advance on the website russia.ru.

The "Journey Across Russia" exposition is divided into eight thematic zones, each dedicated to one of the country's federal districts. The exposition offers a unique journey from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. Displays and multimedia installations showcase Russia's natural, cultural, and scientific wealth, while interactive features — VR, video content, infographics, and photo zones — provide a fully immersive experience.
