The National Centre RUSSIA congratulates the Stavropol region on its 101st foundation anniversary
On February 13, the Stavropol region celebrates 101 years since its establishment. This date is significant for the region, whose achievements will be presented as part of the North Caucasian Federal District in the National Centre RUSSIA’s project "Journey Across Russia." This was announced by Governor Vladimir Vladimirov.
"Our region is known for its rich history and unique cultural legacy, magnificent nature and fertile land, renowned resorts and healing waters. At the 'Journey Across Russia' exposition, we will showcase several key areas that make our region proud. These include 'green' energy and our wind power capacities, which currently reach 765 MW. Greenhouse vegetable farming is one of the core sectors of our agricultural complex, where the Stavropol region holds a leading position in the country. And, of course, we will highlight the region’s balneological and recreational potential. I invite everyone to visit the 'Journey Across Russia' exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA and explore our region’s opportunities for business, leisure, and living," said Vladimir Vladimirov.
The "Journey Across Russia" project will launch at the National Centre RUSSIA in early March. The North Caucasian Federal District will be represented by several zones. Visitors will learn about the district’s nature reserves, traditions, and culture, as well as its wellness and adventure tourism opportunities.
The largest resort area in Russia, the Caucasian Mineral Waters, is located in the Stavropol region. This region is home to architectural and cultural landmarks, including mountains, mineral springs, grottos and caves, numerous bodies of water, structures designed by renowned European architects, and unique resort parks.
