The National Centre RUSSIA congratulates the Vladimir region on its Region Day
On 14 August 2025, the Vladimir region celebrates the 81st
anniversary of its founding. On this day in 1944, the region was established as
a separate administrative unit.
Governor of the Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeyev, in a
conversation with the press office of the National Centre RUSSIA, noted that
the region is developing dynamically each year and improving its economic
performance. He pointed to the region’s greatest treasure — its historical and
cultural legacy.
"Vladimir land is not just a region — it is the true
cradle of Russian statehood, a land of majestic ancient cities whose
white-stone churches and cathedrals have become silent witnesses of great eras
and symbols of the spiritual power of Rus’. Our land has a centuries-old
history. Vladimir, Murom, and Suzdal have already crossed the thousand-year
threshold. Nevertheless, we also honour today’s date, for our region was formed
in years that were fateful for the country. It was created by a heroic
generation to whom we are immeasurably grateful," said Alexander Avdeyev.
Today, the region is home to hundreds of industrial
enterprises, with new ones being established. Special economic zones and
several technology parks have been opened. The tourist infrastructure is
developing actively. The only way forward is growth, the head of the region
stressed.
"The greatest asset of the Vladimir region is, of
course, its people: hardworking, talented and sincere. Their conscientious
work, initiative and devotion to their native land make an invaluable contribution
every day to its development and prosperity," added the governor.
At the "Journey Across Russia" exposition at the
National Centre RUSSIA, the Vladimir region is represented as part of the
Central Federal District in the "Golden Ring" tourist route zone,
which includes cities that have played an important role in the development of
our country and hold historical value.
Visiting the "Journey Across Russia" exposition is
free of charge for everyone, subject to prior registration. More detailed information
about the exposition, including the guided tour schedule, is available in the
"Events" section on the official website of the National Centre
