"We have a lot to impress the world with!": guests of the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA shared why they choose domestic products
The stand
of the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA became one of the most
visited spaces at the INNOPROM 2025 International Industrial Exposition, held
in Yekaterinburg from July 7 to 10. Over the course of four days, the
exposition welcomed hundreds of guests from across the country, as well as
foreign delegations, including high-level representatives of the international
community.
Visitors
were introduced to products by 100 manufacturers from 46 Russian regions — both
traditional and contemporary: designer accessories, folk crafts, grocery
products, and cosmetics made from natural ingredients. Among them were Dymkovo
toys, unique items made from the mineral simbircite, Yelets lace, Pokrov
gingerbread, and many other goods.
"All
kinds of Russian creative trends are represented here in a very vivid way. I
happily bought a handbag today. Everything in the Department Store is very
beautiful," noted Olga, one of the stand’s guests.
She added
that she was particularly drawn to the chocolate, textiles, and ceramics. Olga
also praised the high level of service at the Department Store.
"Service,
of course, is not a product, but it is a strong advantage," she
emphasised.
Lilia,
another guest, was especially impressed by the folkloric elements in the
products.
"These
are national goods with a touch of folklore. Every single item is unique — from
women’s jewellery to home decor, tableware, and clothing," she shared.
As a
keepsake, Lilia took home a stunning crimson kokoshnik decorated with pearls.
"I’ve
dreamt of one for a long time. Such wardrobe pieces highlight Russian feminine
beauty and give each woman a sense of uniqueness," she added.
The
abundance of goods at the Department Store quite literally appealed to the
taste of another visitor, Pavel, who bought a variety of sweets. He also
mentioned being fond of the colourful plates.
"I
have a sweet tooth, a sweet soul. I especially fell in love with the
gingerbread and toffees. By the way, I’ll be trying Tula gingerbread for the
first time. We have a lot to show and something to impress the world with. Our
flavour palette is incredibly rich," he concluded.
The
"Department Store" project of the National Centre RUSSIA, launched in
November 2024, has already united over 160 manufacturers from 60 Russian
regions. In the near future, the project will expand its presence across the
country through branches of the National Centre RUSSIA – from Sevastopol to
Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.
The
INNOPROM 2025 International Industrial Exposition is taking place in
Yekaterinburg from July 7 to 10 with the organisational support of the Ministry
of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Government of the
Sverdlovsk Region.
A lecture "Pure Chemistry: how hormones determine who we fall in love with" was held at the National Centre RUSSIA as part of the II All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting hearts."
