The music duo NANSI & SIDOROV were among the highlights of the Final of "MediaAttraction", the flagship project of the Movement of the First, which took place on 15 August at the National Centre RUSSIA. The artists shared their impressions of the National Centre RUSSIA and spoke about what makes this space special.

"We have been to the National Centre RUSSIA before, and this place always evokes the warmest emotions. First of all, it is constantly being updated and improved, becoming more beautiful with each visit. That is why it’s very cosy and very pleasant here. On top of that, the centre hosts a huge variety of events for very different audiences — from children’s gatherings to wedding festivals. And the most important thing is that everything here is conveniently located, informative, for people and about people. And also there is amazing sound equipment, which for us as musicians is incredibly important," said Oleg and Anastasia.

According to the artists, the National Centre RUSSIA has become a unique creative laboratory where inspiration arises in the atmosphere of live interaction with the audience, and this is especially interesting and valuable for NANSI & SIDOROV.

"The main thing that inspires and enriches us is people. Today we are communicating with school and college students, and we are extremely interested in seeing how differently they perceive the world. Earlier we hosted the Wedding Festival, where people of absolutely different ages from all over Russia came. We look at them and also get inspired, take something for ourselves and perhaps give something back in return. And of course, events at the National Centre RUSSIA are an opportunity to get in touch with the regions. It is gratifying that people from different parts of the country, even though they come for their own events, gatherings, rallies and so on, let us know and show us that they are familiar with our work. And that means we are not doing this in vain," added NANSI & SIDOROV.

Speaking about the importance of creating branches of the National Centre RUSSIA in the regions, the duo noted: "We come with concerts to different regions of Russia, from Kaliningrad to the Far East, and we see a huge number of modern, well-equipped venues and people filled with creative energy. That is why the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow is, perhaps, such a place of power and motivation, and it is wonderful that people, coming here, notice something, pick up something and can implement it back in their regions."

NANSI & SIDOROV performed their hits "Oncoming Lane", "Second Spring", "We Are Here" and other musical pieces for the participants of the "MediaAttraction" project and took memorable photos with them.

The flagship project of the Movement of the First "MediaAttraction" is an important part of the country’s educational and media ecosystem. Within the programme, every school student, university student, teacher or parent has the opportunity to become a member of a live professional community and realise themselves through workshops, creative assignments, visits to media holdings and leading media outlets, and communication with professionals in the media sphere.
