On February 27, the Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova, presented large-scale projects—"Journey Across Russia," Gastronomic Rows, "The Birth of Scale," and the renewed Department Store. Their opening is scheduled for early March.

The "Journey Across Russia" exposition offers a unique opportunity to travel from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad in just one hour. Visitors will be able to see landmarks, natural reserves, tourist routes, industrial achievements of the regions, and much more.

"The 'Journey Across Russia' exposition opens on March 5. It covers more than 3,000 square meters and is divided into 8 zones, showcasing the achievements and attractions of the 8 federal districts of our country. To ensure convenience and comfort for visitors, we have prepared three ways to experience the exposition. The first option requires prior registration on the RUSSIA.RU website, allowing guests to take a free guided tour led by an experienced guide. Those who decide to visit spontaneously can approach the information desk to sign up for a group tour, which will be held every 15 minutes. The last option is an individual visit on a first-come, first-served basis. We strongly recommend exploring the exposition with our guides in groups — it will be a much more vivid and engaging experience," emphasized Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA.

The first part of the "Journey Across Russia" project is the Gastronomic Rows. There, visitors of the National Centre RUSSIA will be able to taste dishes from Russia's diverse national cuisines.

"At the entrance to the 'Journey Across Russia' exposition, our guests will be welcomed by the Gastronomic Rows. They will be divided into four zones: East, North, West, and South. Here, visitors can try the most beloved traditional and innovative dishes from across the country. If it's the South, then there are Crimean chebureks and Ossetian pies; the Far East offers crab, shrimp, and stroganina; Siberia — pelmeni and much more to suit every taste. Of course, there will be masterclasses, and visitors can look forward to a rich cultural program," noted Natalia Virtuozova.

The second exposition, "The Birth of Scale," will open on March 1. It tells the story of Russia's greatness through its architectural legacy. The project will feature leading architectural museums of the country, which will present models, graphics, and exhibits illustrating the development of architecture from the ancient Rus' period to modern times.

"This will be a unique exposition. The installation is almost complete, and the display objects are taking their places. The visionary and chief curator of the exposition is the renowned Russian architect Andrei Chernikhov. On our banners, guests will see the blueprints of his great-grandfather, Yakov Chernikhov, who was decades ahead of his time in his works," said Natalia Virtuozova.

The exposition will be accompanied by an extensive business program, including lectures, discussions, and meetings with architects. The exposition showcases various architectural styles, from Russian wooden architecture to Soviet modernism and constructivism. A dedicated section will focus on the future, featuring works by young architects, student projects, and creative studios for children. Art and architecture will merge in a display of works by contemporary artists.

"Additionally, on March 1, we are opening the renewed Department Store. At the request of our guests, it has been expanded to 150 square meters. The range of products has also been broadened, and visitors will still be able to purchase goods from producers across the country," said Natalia Virtuozova.

The visual symbol of the new season at the Department Store will be Mikhailovskoye lace combined with spring floral compositions. A new "Fashion" section will feature works by students of renowned Russian designer Sergei Sysoev. A collection inspired by architecture will complement "The Birth of Scale" exposition. The Department Store will continue to operate in the area next to the Grand Concert Hall.
