Just over two weeks remain until the start of the II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth". Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA Natalia Virtuozova invited everyone to take part in this large-scale event. As part of the discussion, Russian and international experts, scientists, researchers, and visionaries will come together to explore the key challenges and opportunities of the future. Participants will discuss what tomorrow may look like, which development scenarios the world may face, and which ideas could form the foundation for sustainable global growth.

"The Open Dialogue was initiated by the National Centre RUSSIA a year ago. This year, we are holding it for the second time, with the main event taking place from 27 to 29 April. We invite everyone to take part in the discussions: representatives from more than 100 countries will join us, primarily essayists. We received more than 1,600 submissions, and what matters most is not the number, but the quality — every third author holds an academic degree. The Open Dialogue has brought together representatives from all continents around the idea of a shared global future," said Natalia Virtuozova.

The Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA noted that the Open Dialogue is built on the principles of continuity and mentorship. Authors of the best essays from the first Open Dialogue will return in a new capacity — as experts and members of the jury.

To take part in the II Open Dialogue, essayists had to go through a rigorous selection process. Participating countries include Argentina, Brazil, China, India, the United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia, Japan, and many others. Russia will be represented in the final by 22 essayists from across the country — from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin.

More than 300 essays from around the world, focused on ideas for global economic development, were included in the longlist of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth". The greatest interest was shown in the topic of investment in people — one of today’s key priorities. The submissions were distributed as follows: investments in human capital — 40%, investments in technology — 24%, investments in connectivity — 20%, and investments in the environment — 16%.

The Open Dialogue is an international project of the National Centre RUSSIA, initiated to discuss economic development and shape a new model of global growth. The initiative brings together participants from different countries for an open exchange of ideas and the development of solutions. It has received the support of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, who highlighted its importance for shaping a new global agenda.

Registration for the Open Dialogue is now open, and applications can be submitted via the official website. The event will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA in partnership with the Centre for Cross-Industry Expertise "Third Rome", with the support of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia.
