The International RUSSIA EXPO has created a real sensation. And it is the regional stands that attract a lot of attention — many guests of the Exposition actually "rediscover" their region on the map of Russia.

This was stated by Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Natalia Virtuozova during the press conference "Tourism in Russia, Trends 2023. Plans 2024", timed to coincide with the opening of hospitality weeks at St. Petersburg’s stand at the Exposition.

"Thanks to bright expositions and such teams — passionate, amazing, creative — our Exposition took place. And that is why it has become such a sensation", — said Natalia Virtuozova.

On December 19, the three millionth visitor was registered at the Exposition — it was Alexey Kozyrev from Barnaul, who came to get acquainted with the exposition of his native Altai region together with his wife Elena. The family received an unusual gift — a postcard with congratulations from Vladimir Putin and a trip to the Vostochny Cosmodrome.

"The goal of those who came to the Exposition is Pavilion No.75, the pavilion of regions. This is such a unique opportunity — for the first time the achievements and features of all 89 regions are shown under one roof. And a powerful media — word of mouth — is already working. Alexey and Elena went to see the regions purposefully — their friends recommended certain expositions to them, because our guests already have their favorite stands", — said Natalia Virtuozova.
