The National Centre RUSSIA will become a space for key discussions regarding digital ecosystems
The rapidly growing potential of digital platforms and their role in the global transformation of the economy will be a key topic at the Platform Economy Day hosted by the National Centre RUSSIA on 11 November. The large-scale event will focus on the digital ecosystems development, new models of economic growth, and their role in supporting businesses and regional brands. It will also address the development of innovations, the creation of new jobs, and improving the population's quality of life.
Memorandum of Fair Practices for Digital Platforms
The highlight of the Day will be the signing of the Memorandum of Fair Practices by leading Russian digital companies. Under the document, they pledge to comply in advance with the requirements of the law on platform economy (will enter into force on 1 October 2026). In particular, the document addresses the development of cooperation with partners and customers, the introduction of anti-fraud tools, reliable protection of users' personal data, as well as an active combat against counterfeit goods.
The signing of the Memorandum of Fair Practices for Digital Platforms will take place in the presence of:

"Platform Economy Without Borders" session
Employing the potential of digital platforms and their ecosystems plays an important role in ensuring sustainable economic growth, and improving both business conditions and the population's quality of life. Digital platforms are becoming a kind of elevator for regional businesses, from going online to exporting. For small and medium-sized businesses, platforms radically reduce barriers to entry into new markets and accelerate sales scaling. Export showcases and promotional tools for marketplaces, demand analytics and end—to-end logistics — these and other tools allow to support regional brands.
Building cooperation looking like a chain "region-platform-development institutions" to promote local manufacturers in national and foreign markets is becoming increasingly relevant.
