Nikolai Shulginov launched the Energy Day at the RUSSIA EXPO
Nikolai
Shulginov, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, officially opened the
Energy Day. The ceremony took place in Pavilion No. 46 Energy of Life.
"The
Russian fuel and energy complex demonstrates success on the global stage, is
one of the leaders in all areas - oil, gas, coal production, power generation.
Our industries work steadily, and we would like to show how we have been
working for the last 20 years, what successes we have achieved," the
Minister of Energy said in his welcoming speech.
As part of
the opening ceremony of the industry day, Nikolai Shulginov presented state and
departmental awards to representatives of the fuel and energy complex for their
contribution to the development of the energy sector. The head of the
department also took part in the ceremony of launching three modernized power
units of Gusinoozerskaya, Kostromskaya and Permskaya GRES (state district power
plant) with a total capacity of 1390 MW.
"The
commissioning of units in the Republic of Buryatia, Perm and Kostroma regions
is really important for these regions, they will ensure reliable power supply
to the territories and will be a guarantee for their further development,"
said Alexandra Panina, member of the Management Board of PJSC Inter RAO,
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Association "Council of
Electricity Producers and Strategic Investors of the Electric Power
Industry".
The local
launch ceremony was attended by Alexei Tsydenov, Head of the Republic of
Buryatia, and Sergei Sitnikov, Governor of the Kostroma region.
As part of
the opening ceremony of the industry day, Oleg Aksyutin, Deputy Chairman of the
Management Committee, Head of the Advanced Development Department of PJSC
Gazprom, Andrey Murov, Member of the Management Committee, First Deputy
Director General of PJSC ROSSETI, Alexander Vilesov, Director General of PJSC T
Plus, Sergey Gustov, Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, and Mikhail
Karisalov, Chairman of the Management Committee, Director General of SIBUR,
spoke about the achievements of their companies.
The
organizers of the Energy Day are the Government of the Russian Federation, the
Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, ANO «Directorate of the
Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"», and the operator is the
Roscongress Foundation.
The programme of the performers includes folk songs, lyrical compositions and original musical pieces.
The issue of introducing financial support for banks was discussed at the regular meeting of the Council of Participants and Users of the Payment Market.
The aim of the investment standard is to shorten the path from an investor’s idea to actual capital investment.
