Nikolai Valuev: "All problems should be solved with words and humor"

State Duma deputy, world boxing champion Nikolai Valuev met with pupils of the centers. He talked to children at the World of Digit platform at the International RUSSIA EXPO.

The TASS Children - Newm and TD project held a meeting of children from Family Education Support Centers with Nikolai Valuev, Russian State Duma deputy and world professional boxing champion, at the World of Digit exposition at VDNH. Children learned how to cope with fear and bullying at school, why it is important to develop not only physically but also intellectually, and how to cope with difficulties.

Nikolai Sergeevich shared that he was teased at school because of his tall stature. But he learned to joke about it, became the soul of the party and solved problems with words. He also advised young listeners to close comments section on social networks, because many people are not tactful and try to hurt and wound.

He also gave advice to the children that he himself would like to hear at their age: "We all make mistakes, walk your own path." The students at the centers asked many questions about sports, how to deal with defeats and how not to get discouraged.

"Respect yourself and your labor. Labor is at the heart of achieving the goal, so after defeat you need to go on," advised Nikolai Sergeevich.

At the end of the meeting, he congratulated the children on the coming holidays, wished that all the dreams made on New Year's Eve would come true.
