New career guidance space for schoolchildren: "Space of Opportunities" projects were discussed at the National Centre RUSSIA
The "Space of Opportunities," which opened on May 15 at the National Centre RUSSIA, brought together principals’ councelors for upbringing and municipal coordinators of the Movement of the First from the Moscow Region. The participants explored this new point of attraction and discussed plans for future activities.
Ilya Yurchishin, Head of the Youth Policy Department at the National Centre RUSSIA, together with Sergei Kuzmin, Deputy Head of the Directorate for Mass Events of the Regional Branch of the Movement of the First in Moscow, presented project formats that will be of interest both to members of the Movement of the First in the Moscow region and to every citizen of our country.
"The most important common goal is to create conditions where teenagers understand how an idea is formed, how to set goals, and feel their inseparable connection to the country’s development, so they can dream and design," noted Ilya Yurchishin.
Natalya Fedorova, Head of the project "Youth and Children in the Space of Opportunities" and Head of the Directorate for Mass Events of the Regional Branch of the Movement of the First in Moscow, in her speech highlighted the significance of the space within the school career guidance system. According to her, young people here will learn to approach media consciously and to create content that benefits the country and its people.
Following the discussion, participants attended a guided tour of the interactive exposition "Journey Across Russia." In just 90 minutes, they visited displays dedicated to the eight federal districts of our country, immersed themselves in history, and discovered the cultural legacy, natural resources, scientific and industrial achievements of each region.
The space is the result of the collaboration of leading public organisations: the Movement of the First, Rosmolodezh, the "Russia – Land of Opportunity" platform, the Russian society Znanie, and the National Centre RUSSIA.
The National Centre RUSSIA hosted the opening ceremony of the exposition "Geography Lessons".
The National Centre RUSSIA invites everyone across the country to come together in a khorovod (traditional circle dance).
From 27 to 29 April, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the main international event of the spring — the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World.
