New Year’s mood: how to spend time at the National Centre RUSSIA before the holidays
There are
just a few days left until New Year’s Eve, yet there is still so much to do.
For example, visit the National Centre RUSSIA. Choose a convenient day — we’ve
prepared several great ideas for fun activities for the whole family.
To start,
we recommend heading to the Library of the Future and the Hall of Inventions to
learn how the ideas of sci-fi authors have materialized into modern inventions
and technologies. For instance, the Strugatsky Brothers predicted the advent of
the internet and first described neural networks, while the robot vacuum
cleaner, without which many can’t imagine cleaning today, can still be found in
the pages of books about the adventures of the little-known character,
Neznaika.
During the tour, be sure to take a memorable photo.
In anticipation of the New Year, guests have been provided with special
locations for bright and festive photography — for example, near decorated
mirrors or Christmas trees. You can also take striking photos with the main
piece of the "Legacy for the Future" exposition — the "Son of
the Earth," a miniature replica of the famous sculpture by Chinese artist
Dong Shubing, dedicated to responsible attitudes towards nature and the
responsibility for future generations. You can also capture shots against installations
like "Crossing Borders" or "Among Echoes."
In the café
of the National Centre, you can try our festive poppy seed bagel with various
toppings of your choice. In the sweets department of the Department Store,
treat yourself to chocolates with unique flavors, classic gingerbread, and
natural marshmallows. Additionally, in the Department Store, you can buy
souvenirs to keep for yourself and find gifts for friends and loved ones for
the New Year.
If you’re
looking for exciting activities, in the Future Professions gaming zone, every
guest, regardless of age, can feel like a child and transform into a fearless
engineer of a lunar station or a spaceship pilot. You can also explore future
professions and become an exoskeleton operator engineer, and most importantly,
send a wonderful greeting to loved ones in the interactive "Greetings from
Space" photo zone.
Free guided tours are available to guests, as
well as self-guided exploration of the National Centre’s expositions.
The integration of special military operation veterans into peaceful life and the interaction between regions and municipalities were discussed as part of the Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA".
The second All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
