New national record was set at the All-Russian Hospitality Festival "SAMOVARFEST" at the RUSSIA EXPO
An 11-hour marathon of music, songs and dances from the country's most hospitable festival — "SAMOVARFEST". The festival's concert program featured more than 1,000 performers from different regions of the country, including leading children's, youth, and family ethnocultural groups.
The festival's opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Department of National Policy of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation for Domestic Policy, Tatyana Vagina, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Nationalities, Ildar Gilmutdinov, the Deputy Head of the Department for National Policy and Interregional Relations of Moscow, Ivan Evgenyevich Petrov, and the Director of the "SAMOVARFEST" Festival, President of the "Cultures of Nations" Foundation, Natalia Dolgareva.
The audience witnessed a colorful show by the National Theater of Music and Song "Golden Ring" under the direction of the Merited Art Worker of Russia, Alexander Kostyuk, and enjoyed favorite hits performed by the People's Artist of Russia, Nadezhda Kadysheva, including "Am I to Blame", "The Stream Flows", "I Am Not a Sorceress" and others.
A new national record was set by the artists of the "Golden Ring" theater — "The Highest Jump on a Trampoline While Performing a Russian Folk Dance", which reached a height of 5 meters 17 centimeters and was recorded in the Russian Records Register. The record was set by Vladimir Lazutin.
From the Main Entrance of VDNH to the open stage "SAMOVARCONCERT", a colorful parade of nationalities took place, featuring representatives of more than 130 peoples of Russia, accompanied by the orchestra of the Moscow Musical Cadet Corps.
The evening program of modern music was presented to the guests by famous bloggers and hosts — Vitta Chikovani, Maxim Zavidia, Anton Lavrentyev, Kamila Valieva, GAZAN, POLI. Super hits were performed by Doni, Janil Natas, KRISTIAN, Toma Polak, Liza Diez, Polina Grenz, ZAUR & MEIRINKITO, 5UTRA, Alana O, R MARKO RADINOVICH, LEPNINA, Keneli & Zhiro, Kati EKATZE, KAYA, Milana Khametova, ELLA, AILUN, STAZZY, Miidas, Lyubov Uspenskaya and Pacha Tati.
The audience of "SAMOVARFEST" could enjoy the spectacular concert not only at the VDNH venue, where the Festival was invited this year by the International RUSSIA EXPO, but also via online broadcasts on social networks from different corners of our country.
The National Centre RUSSIA exposition "See Yugra — Fall in Love with Russia!" in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra welcomed its 50,000th visitor.
