On 11 April, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the Open Lecture Hall "Inventing the Future: Geography". One of the speakers will be Huadong Guo, Director General of the International Research Centre of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (CBAS). He will talk about how artificial intelligence, satellite technology, and lunar platforms are helping us study our planet.

"We will discuss space technologies used for Earth observation and talk about how new tools can change approaches to monitoring and studying the most remote corners of our planet. The Lecture Hall promises to be interesting and informative, so I look forward to the meeting," said Huadong Guo.

The Open Lecture Hall "Inventing the Future: Geography" offers a look at the future through the lens of this science — as a space of new discoveries, where space exploration, climate change, and technology are transforming the world and humanity, and travel is becoming a tool for self-discovery.

Admission to the event is free of charge, with prior registration on the website russia.ru. Keep an eye on updates in the "Events" section.
