Competition for the development of the VDNH territory announced
The professional competition Zolotoy Kolos (Golden Ear of Wheat) is held in the capital for the second time. The participants of the first season developed projects to renovate the entrance groups of VDNH. The announcement of the results and awarding of the second competition will be held in the summer of 2024. The winner will receive 300 thousand rubles, the second place will be awarded 200 thousand rubles, the third place - 100 thousand rubles.
According to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina, professionals in the field of architecture, landscape design and construction 18-35 years old, as well as creative teams from Russia, Belorussia and other CIS countries are invited to participate in the competition.
"Contestants will have to create a landscape-architectural concept for the territory between the first Likhoborsky driveway and Agricultural Street", — said Natalia Sergunina.
The works will be evaluated by several criteria: functionality, aesthetics, scale, uniqueness of the concept. The application can be submitted until January 31, 2024 on the website of the exposition. Projects for the contest will be accepted until May 30.
The competition is organized by VDNH with the participation of the Union of Architects of Russia, the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia, the International Association of Architect Unions, the Association of Parks of Russia, the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation and other organizations.
