Dates for the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future" were announced
During the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Dreams of the Future" contest on June 1, Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova announced the dates for the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future".
"I am delighted to announce that from October 7 to 8, 2025, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the II International Symposium 'Inventing the Future.' The National Centre RUSSIA remains a space where guidelines and meanings are formed, where development vectors are set. Here we hear the voices of those who not only think about the future, but are ready to create it right now," said Natalia Virtuozova.
The first International Symposium "Inventing the Future" took place from November 4 to 6, 2024, and became the first event organised at the National Centre RUSSIA. More than 6,000 people from 101 countries participated in the event.
The Symposium brought together representatives of government and business, scientists, engineers, futurologists, public figures and creative professionals from BRICS countries, the SCO, the CIS and other states. More than 80 events were dedicated to designing the future — multipolar, technological, and human-oriented.
Discussions were held across four key areas: the future of humanity, the future of technology, the future of a multipolar world and the future of civilisations. The Symposium became a focal point for meanings, ideas and strategies that formed the foundation for the long-term work of the National Centre RUSSIA.
Enriching the Centre's library collection with rare editions also became a Symposium tradition: in 2024, participants from India, Iran, Italy, Canada, China, Malaysia, Moldova, UAE, Serbia, USA and other countries donated unique books.
The Symposium will serve as a platform for the practical implementation of strategic national priorities.
The festival will take place from July 8 to 10 and will be dedicated to the Day of Family, Love, and Fidelity.
