The second All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA. Following the panel session "Growth Strategies: Effective Territorial Governance," Mayor of Yaroslavl Artem Molchanov noted that the forum provides a unique opportunity to exchange practices and experience.

"The problems are very similar, no matter which part of the country the region is located in. There was just a session on strategic planning — we are very interested in how other regions approach spatial development, master planning, and what federal tools are available. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin spoke about new national projects. The experience, knowledge, and information are truly unique," explained Artem Molchanov.

He shared that this is not his first time at the National Centre RUSSIA and that he has already visited the exposition "Journey Across Russia."

"Everyone should visit this place at least once in their lifetime. The exposition presents all the distinctive features of the country — its beauty, the diversity of its culture, art, and territories," said Artem Molchanov.

Mayor of Chita Inna Shcheglova noted that the "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" forum has taken on a different meaning this year. And the most important aspect is the exchange of views on the most pressing issues faced by various cities and regions.

"The critical issues are emergency housing, the possibility of modernizing the housing and utilities sector, and everything related to urban improvement and public spaces. These concerns affect the majority of residents. The main thing is to understand whether we are moving in the right direction. At events like today's panel session, we are reassured in the correctness of our path and can also receive useful advice," said Inna Shcheglova.

The All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia" is one of the most important events for all municipal entities in the country. It is held annually by the order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to discuss relevant issues related to the development and support of municipal entities.

Around 4,000 people from all regions of the country are taking part in the Forum: representatives of local self-government, federal and regional authorities, businesses, public organizations, and experts.

From April 21 to 23, participants are exchanging experiences, sharing successful practices, and developing solutions to a wide range of pressing issues aimed at improving the quality of life in municipalities.

The Forum is organized by the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU) with the support of the Executive Office of the President of the Russian Federation.
