The Department Store — the main trading space of the International RUSSIA EXPO — has been updated. New products are now available to guests, and the visual design has become truly spring-like.

In recent weeks, new participants have been added to the assortment of the Department Store: now you can see an unusual line of Khokhloma painting products in green and pink colors, as well as a Kislovodsk tea set made in 3D painting technique, colored Gzhel, books about fairy tale characters from all 89 regions of Russia, and cufflinks made of mammoth bone. Each of these goods reflects the culture and traditions of local craftsmen.

New varieties of gingerbread and dolls were added to the collection of the Department Store. Winter down, felted, woolen accessories and clothes have been replaced by light linen coats, jackets with works of famous artists and textile scarves-paintings.

The assortment of Russian-made care cosmetics is also expanding. Entrepreneurs hold client days, during consultations clearly showing that Russian cosmetics can successfully compete with foreign products.

Special attention is paid to the theme of the upcoming Orthodox Easter. Thus, unique festive kulichi (Easter cakes) will be presented by producers from the Yaroslavl region. Figured chocolate from Udmurtia and Easter gingerbread from Tula region will be available together with them. Wicker items made of vine from the Leningrad region, lace textiles from the Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod and Lipetsk regions, ceramic Easter eggs from the Ryazan region, and other interesting ceramic items made by craftsmen from the Leningrad region will help to decorate kulichi into full-fledged gifts.

In addition, the guests will have access to lamps in the shape of Easter hares and sets made by the masters of Semikarakorsk ceramics from the Rostov region, Solba ceramics from the Yaroslavl region, carved icons from the Novosibirsk region, wooden Vyatka souvenirs from the Kirov region, figures of saints of Bogorodskoye carving from the Moscow region, painted matryoshka dolls from Voronezh, flower wreaths from the Moscow region, and holy water vessels from Kaluga.

Finally, items of festive Easter clothes will be presented, including kerchiefs from the Kaluga and Tambov regions, silk shawls depicting cathedrals from St. Petersburg.

The very space of the Department Store is also being transformed. New visual solutions are based on a combination of blue, white and green colors, and the decorative design displays the role of the Department Store as a modern, stylish and original space that has no analogues. New shelves have already been placed in the shopping area, where it is more convenient to look at the presented goods.

The continuation of event activities at the venue is no less important. Throughout the spring and summer there will be masterclasses on various techniques of painting and lace weaving, painting expositions, presentations of museum crafts of Russia. Producers will introduce their goods to the guests, share their own skills and tell about the culture of their regions.

A number of special events will take place during the Easter days, including meetings with artists of folk crafts, masterclasses for making wicker baskets and souvenir Easter eggs, and music and educational programs prepared by various regions.
