Public organizations presented environmental initiatives at the RUSSIA EXPO
A panel discussion entitled "Ecological Coalition: Initiatives of Public Organizations for Nature Conservation" was held in Pavilion No. 55 "Home of Youth" as part of the day dedicated to the anniversary of the establishment of the All-Russian Ecological Movement "Ecosystem". Experts shared their experience and plans in conservation activities.
"There are seven key areas within our program, including 'Ecology and Sustainable Development'. We have eco-tours and to date we have 34 programs under the environmental track. These are the programs where our participants get to know nature, perform useful actions as part of environmental protection activities. This is garbage collection, cleaning and restoration of monuments, participation in environmental campaigns with regional volunteers and much more," explained the Head of Rosmolodezh's program 'More than a Trip' Olesya Teterina to the audience.
Natalia Danilina, Director of the Ecological-Educational Center "Reserves", emphasized the importance of preserving wildlife in its pristine state: "We have an educational charitable foundation 'Reserve Embassy', with which we work together, complementing each other. Our organization works with specially protected natural areas. Reserves and national parks play a colossal role in wildlife conservation. And wildlife is the basis of all ecosystems. To preserve life on the planet, it is necessary to protect wildlife".
Oleg Zorya, Director of the All-Russian Organization "Urban Renovations", noted that wherever we live, we are surrounded by urban environment: "And, unfortunately, there are certain difficulties in the context of urban environment in terms of landscaping and park areas. The main topic in this regard is the water and green framework. It is a chain that unites all the green places of the city, along which it is possible to build pedestrian routes and bicycle routes".
Also, the initiatives on environmental activities were shared during the panel discussion by Anastasia Zatsepurina, Head of the All-Russian public movement "Medical Volunteers", Dmitry Tkachenko, Head of the Central Headquarters of the Russian Union of Rural Youth, Andrei Mishchenkov, Head of the Ecology Department of the Association of Youth Governments of Russia, and Polina Ivanova, Head of the Press Office Department of the Russian Union of Rural Youth.

The movement operates in seven key areas: environmental education, social ecology, environmental volunteering, forest and climate, closed cycle economy, science and business, international cooperation in 75 regions of the country and already unites more than 11,000 volunteers.
