Plunge to the bottom of Lake Baikal, visit space and practice archery: virtual reality at VDNH
The RUSSIA EXPO helps to discover modern and technological ways to entertain oneself. For example, virtual reality is available to every guest of Pavilion No. 75. This is a unique opportunity to visit different corners of Russia, explore the depths of space and even get into the past.
Explore Baikal
The expositions boast a lot of interesting activities. Almost every region offers VR-excursions to its main cultural and natural sites. For example, at the stand of the Irkutsk region, guests can fly over Baikal and then dive to the bottom of the lake, visit the capital and see other attractions.
Heading south
The Krasnodar region has prepared a real fairy-tale journey called Southern Night, here reality is spectacularly combined with colorful cartoon inserts. In a few minutes you can see all the most beautiful places of the Russian south: Abrau-Durso, Caucasus Biosphere Reserve, Mount Akhun and Matsesta resort, walk along vineyards, fly over the sea and swim on the beach.
Fly into space
If you want to visit places where it is impossible to go in reality, then go to the stand of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. There you will travel to the depths of the Universe. You will be able to control a spaceship, fly among the stars and even go back in time and see how life on planet Earth was born.
Quest at the Kursk plant
There are several VR-activities at the exposition of the Kursk region. You can visit different productions and enterprises. But the most interesting is to go to the machine-building plant Vagonmash, where the guests will find not only a fascinating excursion, but also an entertaining game of searching for artifacts. The more details the player collects, the more chances to get a prize, and not virtual, but quite real. 15 minutes are allocated for each game.
Visit the past
The Zaporozhye region invites you to travel to the VIII century BC and shoot archery together with ancient nomads. And if you succeed, then take part in a Scythian Archer virtual competition. Several levels of difficulty have been prepared for players, so it will be interesting for both children and adults.
