On 24 August, the interactive event "Speak like Entin" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA as part of the cycle "Masterpieces. The best of Russia." The event was dedicated to the outstanding poet Yuri Entin, who recently turned 90 years old.

Yuri Entin is the author of the lyrics for many famous children's songs, with which more than one generation grew up: "The Beautiful Faraway", "If There Were No Winter", "Winged Swings", "I Want to Fly", "The Ray of Golden Sun", "Forest Deer", "Chunga-Chunga", "There is Nothing Better In the World...", "Tell Me, Snegurochka, Where Have You Been?", "You Are a Human." These compositions are known and loved in Russia and abroad.

The visitors shared their impressions of the event.

"I really liked the "Domisolka" Musical Theater's  performance, they perfectly sang songs that we all know from our childhood. Yuri Entin's poems are something dear and close to us, they make you feel warm," said Marina Korobeynikova.

Olga Alekseeva attended an event from the cycle "Masterpieces. The best of Russia." for the second time:

"Last month we attended the creative evening "Speak like Matusovsky". These are wonderful events, and thank you for hosting them at the National Centre RUSSIA. It's nice that people of different generations are gathering together here — children, youth, people of middle and older ages," the guest emphasized.

Alexander Rodionov came with his son, they both took part in a flash mob and sang a song from the cartoon "The Adventures of Buratino".

"It was very exciting and fun. It's great that Yuri Entin's daughter and granddaughter participated in the event. We learned about the poet from the mouths of his relatives, and it was interesting. My son enjoyed the musical performances and the flash mob. I think that we will come to the National Centre RUSSIA for such meetings more than once," he said.

The creative evening became part of a large cycle "The World of Poetry", which introduces the audience to the richest literary heritage of Russia through a synthesis of theater, music and interactive technologies.

Up-to-date information on the events can be found in the "Events" section on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA russia.ru.
