From history to achievements: what the exposition at the Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will tell about Primorye
In early September 2025, the first branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will open in Vladivostok. Four more branches will launch in Krasnoyarsk, Ryazan, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra, and Sevastopol by the end of the year. They will continue a large-scale project whose main mission is to preserve the historical legacy of our country, showcase the achievements of Russia’s regions, shape the nation’s business and cultural agenda, and foster a sense of pride in the country.
The Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will reveal the unique facets of the Primorye region: its nature, history, achievements, and investment potential. Thanks to modern technology, visitors will not only be able to see but also fully immerse themselves in the region’s distinctive atmosphere, complete with its sounds and scents.
In the lobby, guests will be greeted by a chronological panel — a visual timeline of key events that sets the historical context. In the immersive interactive area, visitors will be able to: learn about the development of cities in Primorye; take on the role of an urban planner; appreciate the scale of the region’s logistics links with Asia-Pacific countries; explore the Northern Sea Route; and even independently pilot an icebreaker from the northern ports to Vladivostok. An interactive poster with up-to-date events will help visitors stay informed about cultural and sports activities.
A unique part of the exposition is a bathyscaphe. It will take visitors to the ocean floor to explore the underwater world. Other themed zones will offer opportunities to:
— follow the leopard trail and plant a tree;
— feel the velvet of sandy beaches and hear the ocean waves;
— immerse in the culture of indigenous peoples;
— explore major investment projects;
— learn about the achievements of various industries in the region — from harvesting marine resources to building icebreakers, from car manufacturing to the use of smart robots.
Visitors will be able to try on the roles of fisherman, hunter or shipbuilder. Business representatives will benefit from details about preferential economic regimes, while young professionals and those looking to build a life in Primorye will find attractive opportunities from successful entrepreneurs.
The Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will not only host the exposition of the Primorye region, but also serve as a venue for various business and social events. The exposition complex will also feature a Department Store, a gastronomy area, and a co-working space.
