This week,
from February 20 to 25, an incredible variety of dairy products awaits visitors
of the Farmers Fair. Its true pride will be cheeses: aged and hard,
young and soft, from cow, sheep and goat milk.
Be sure to
try cheeses from the cheese factory from the Tambov region - it is located in
one of the most ecologically clean regions of the country, which positively
affects the taste and quality of the product. To achieve perfection, the
cheesemakers spent several years studying the experience of their colleagues in
Italy. Therefore, all products will satisfy even the pickiest cheese gourmet.
No less
interesting is the brand from the Kursk region, which specializes in goat
cheeses: Camembert, Chevre, feta, caciotta with various additives, author's
aged and ricotta. To get the perfect milk with a fine flavor, they had
to breed Nubian goats with local aborigines.
Fans of
Adygean cheeses will not be disappointed. At the fair it will be
possible to try all favorite varieties: suluguni, chechil, brynza, as well as
cheeses with Caucasian spices. But the Ryazan region will present its unique
dairy products in addition to cheeses. The assortment includes ryazhenka from the
Russian oven, kefir on natural kefir fungi, a large number of cottage cheese
and other sour-milk products.
Connoisseurs
of fish should definitely try products from the Krasnoyarsk region. There
on the Taymyr Peninsula there is a community of indigenous Mukustur peoples,
whose main activity is hunting and fishing. Wild fish of northern species are
caught on the territory of the peninsula, as well as in the areas of the
Yenisei Bay of the Arctic Ocean. Fish is processed and smoked naturally on
alder sawdust especially for fairs and festivals. Come to us for chir, muksun,
omul, sockeye salmon and whitefish.
And of
course, the choice would not be complete without meat products. It will
be presented by Kurgan meat processing plant. Here canned goods and sausages
are prepared without preservatives and artificial coloring agents, high quality
meat raw materials are used. The brand from the Leningrad region will also
present its premium class jerky products. The peculiarity of these sausages is
that the meat undergoes a natural ripening process. Be sure to pay attention to
the brand's hits: salami with truffle, spicy raw sausage with spicy paprika and
