From Moscow to Vladivostok: a new route to youth capitals was presented at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Primorye, Krasnoyarsk, Murmansk, Omsk and Nizhny
Novgorod regions, Moscow - the choice of these regions of the country for the
tour route is not accidental. Their administrative centers, with the exception
of the Nizhny Novgorod region, were competing for the title of "Youth
Capital of Russia" at the end of 2023. More than 1 million people took
part in the public voting for a new point of attraction for young people - it
is five times more than the previous year.
The winners were two cities at once - Moscow and
Vladivostok. Nizhny Novgorod, the fifth most populous megacity in the country,
passed the baton to them.
At the tour "From Moscow to Vladivostok: Towards the
Youth Capital 2024" organized in Pavilion No. 75 at the RUSSIA EXPO, one
can learn about the most important projects in the field of youth policy,
opportunities for self-realization and points of attraction for the younger
generation in the regions of our country.
"Each of the young Russians today has the opportunity
to unlock their potential and show it to the whole world. We teach the kids not
to be afraid of their ideas and courageously turn them into bright projects, at
the state level we try to make them feel important and needed by their native
country, believe in themselves and in their strength. The route "From
Moscow to Vladivostok" will show what opportunities are open to the youth
of Russia in various fields, where to turn to if you have an interesting idea,
but do not understand how to realize it and, perhaps, will help someone to make
a confident first step towards their future," said the head of Rosmolodezh
Ksenia Razuvaeva.
Rosmolodezh develops its projects in all regions, whose
expositions were included in the route of the new tour. For example, Primorye
serves as a venue for the All-Russian Forum of Young Entrepreneurs, and this
year there is planned a large-scale regional program of the World Youth
Festival, which will bring together 20 thousand young activists from around the
world.
The Krasnoyarsk region is among the pilot regions for the
renovation of tourist trails within the framework of the project
"Development of Hiking Tourism" - today it is being implemented by
the program "More than a Trip". And the Omsk region attracts the
younger generation with such spaces as "Place 8.20" and the library
"Quarter 5/1", where young people have opportunities for creative and
professional self-realization.
During the excursion it will be possible to learn why the
phrase "To Live in the North" has become a slogan of the Murmansk
region, and how residents of Nizhny Novgorod can build a successful career in
IT or civil service. And also to get acquainted with the project office
"Youth of Moscow", which reveals the creative and sports potential of
young men and women, and the work of the resource center
"Mosvolunteer".
