From discussion to action: results of the international Open Dialogue on the future of the world to be presented tomorrow at the National Centre RUSSIA
A press conference dedicated to the presentation of the report "Shaping a New Platform for Global Growth," based on the results of the International Open Dialogue, will take place on June 16 at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The report contains an analytical overview of global trends identified by recognised experts and participants of the Open Dialogue from over 100 countries. The trends presented in the report are currently shaping the framework of the economy of the future. The document also includes contributions from essay authors, written specifically for the Open Dialogue in four key areas — investments in human capital, technology, connectivity, and environment. In total, the National Centre RUSSIA received around 700 submissions in 18 languages — from Pashto to Serbian.
Participating in the report presentation on June 16 will be the Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova, as well as the representative of the partner organisation that compiled the report based on the outcomes of the Open Dialogue — Natalia Stapran, Director General of the Centre for Cross-Sectoral Expertise "Third Rome."
Foreign experts and essay authors will share their perspectives on the global significance of public communication during the press conference, including:
- Lucy Morgan Edwards, geopolitical analyst and journalist (Switzerland);
- Joseph Potvin, economist (Canada);
- Naila Mehrabova, member of the supervisory board of the Azersun holding, Azerbaijan;
- Yelizaveta Romanova, student at the Russian State Social University, Russia;
- Murat Dudarev, expert of the Committee on Small and Medium Enterprises of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
The Open Dialogue and the presentation of its results will continue as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum at the session of the same name, "Shaping a New Platform for Global Growth," moderated by Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, Maxim Oreshkin. The discussion will also feature essay authors of the Open Dialogue and invited international experts.
