From Psittacosaurus to modern industry: Kuzbass Day at the RUSSIA EXPO
Achievements of industries, dinosaurs and famous actors — the Kemerovo region opened its Day at the International RUSSIA EXPO with a big swing of Siberian soul.
Guests of the exposition can examine in detail the Siberian Psittacosaurus, which lived on the territory of the modern Kemerovo region during the Cretaceous period. Children can use a special pen to create their own model of the dinosaur or useful items, such as phone stands.
The star guests of the Day of the Kemerovo region were Vladimir Mashkov, actor and artistic director of the Moscow Oleg Tabakov Theater, and actress Alyona Babenko, a native of Kemerovo.
The region presented achievements in industry, infrastructure and healthcare. According to the Governor of the Kemerovo region Sergey Tsivilyov, the greater Siberia nowadays begins precisely with Kuzbass.
"Kuzbass is a region that has tremendous energy. It is facilitated by amazing nature and strong brave people ready to build a new future", — said the head of the region.
The "I am from Kuzbass" campaign was launched at the exposition. Any visitor who is in any way connected with the region can leave their personal digital portrait on the interactive "tree".
Prominent state and public figures evaluated projects presented by 112 contestants.
