From war drama to anime: movies for every taste at the RUSSIA EXPO
A ladybug adventure in the vein of "Pirates of the
Caribbean", the Great Patriotic War through the eyes of a six-year-old boy
and a family drama set against the backdrop of winter Baikal. From Friday to
Sunday, July 21-23, guests of the Exposition will enjoy free movie screenings
for the whole family.
In this installment, the characters move from France to the
tropical island of Guadeloupe, where exciting adventures in the vein of
"Pirates of the Caribbean" and a romantic story inspired by
"Romeo and Juliet" await them. The unique feature of the cartoon is
the combination of animation and on-location filming.

A story about the exciting and heroic events that took place
in the life of the youngest soldier - the hero of the Great Patriotic War,
six-year-old Sergei Aleshkov. He lost all his relatives, got into the active
army. The six-year-old boy played a game of soldier to preserve his childhood,
and he became a real defender of the Motherland to match this honorable title.

GRIGORY AND ALEXANDRA POTANIN. LOVE AND LIFE ON THE ROAD 12+
A documentary film about the life of Russian explorers and
travelers, a married couple - about Grigory Potanin, the greatest explorer of
Asia of the XIX century, who was one of the first to study the ethnography of
Asian peoples, explored unknown regions of Central Asia, Tibet, Mongolia,
Uriankhai region, Altai, Tien Shan, and about his wife Alexandra Potanina, who
was always by his side. She left behind valuable essays on the family structure
of Asian peoples, on the role of women in the family, on the upbringing of
children. For Grigory Potanin, Alexandra became a wife and a muse of distant
wanderings, and he opened for her the way to the science she had dreamed of
since her youth.

On the eve of her own 16th birthday, insecure girl Akane
goes to the gift store on her mother's errand to pick up her present. When she
discovers that her hand is a perfect match to a strange imprint in the stone,
to the surprise of shopkeeper Tee, a strange man suddenly emerges from the
basement and declares that he is an alchemist named Hippocrates, and Akane must
follow him and his tiny assistant Pipo into another world to save Wonderland
from destruction.

Hoping to distract a young boy from the loss of his mother,
his father takes him to his grandfather's house for a winter fishing trip. But
the family gets caught in a blizzard and is lost on the ice of the world's
largest lake. Love and the mysterious forces of Lake Baikal will help them
overcome their grief and find each other.
