Opening of the "Summer 2040" festival took place at the RUSSIA EXPO
On July 7, at Pavilion No. 19 "Atom" of the
International RUSSIA EXPO, the opening of the "Summer 2040" festival
took place. Visitors to the Exposition witnessed performances by the main
characters of the Soviet science fiction film "Guest from the
Future": Alisa Selezneva, Kolya Gerasimov, the robot Werther and others.
They immersed participants in the ideas and projects that will shape the image
of the future up to 2040.
Throughout the day, representatives of the scientific
community will deliver lectures and participate in panel discussions, telling
participants about information technologies, neurobiology, energy and other
fields. Experts will discuss areas where Russia has achieved significant
success and address issues that need to be resolved by the target date. During
breaks between events, guests can enjoy a light show accompanied by musicians
and performers, assemble a large mosaic from cubes and make kites with their
own hands.
The International RUSSIA EXPO showcases the most important
achievements of the country in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural
events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The
expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and
public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 18 million people
have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place
on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
The final panel pitching session for the "Investments in Connectivity" track took place on 29 April at the National Centre RUSSIA.
On the second day of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" the most remarkable essays submitted by authors in each track were presented.
The topic "Investments in Human Capital" attracted the largest number of essays from around the world, becoming one of the most in-demand themes within the framework of the Open Dialogue.
