On July 7, at Pavilion No. 19 "Atom" of the International RUSSIA EXPO, the opening of the "Summer 2040" festival took place. Visitors to the Exposition witnessed performances by the main characters of the Soviet science fiction film "Guest from the Future": Alisa Selezneva, Kolya Gerasimov, the robot Werther and others. They immersed participants in the ideas and projects that will shape the image of the future up to 2040.

Throughout the day, representatives of the scientific community will deliver lectures and participate in panel discussions, telling participants about information technologies, neurobiology, energy and other fields. Experts will discuss areas where Russia has achieved significant success and address issues that need to be resolved by the target date. During breaks between events, guests can enjoy a light show accompanied by musicians and performers, assemble a large mosaic from cubes and make kites with their own hands.
