An Open Conversation about present and future of Dagestan’s creative industries — at the National Centre RUSSIA
The days of the Republic of Dagestan have started at the
National Centre RUSSIA. One of the important events of the first week of
September will be the Open Conversation named "Creative Dagestan."
Founders of the largest brands will discuss how creativity and traditions
affect the creative economy of the Republic.
The participants of the Open Conversation will touch upon
the development of tourism in the region and the strategy for creative industries development. They will
talk about Dagestan's cultural codes and its ancient traditions. Also, at the
meeting there will be announced plans for development of the Kubachi Art
Factory. This factory is a manufacturer of silverware, jewelry and souvenirs,
and it is one of the most famous enterprises in the Caucasus. The speakers will
also discuss the region's place in the big cinema.
Among the participants of the Open Conversation are Gadzhi
Gusenov, co-founder of the "Measure" brand, Aisha and Madina
Arshayevs, founders of the "Arshayevs" brand, Murad Gadzhiyakhyaev,
director of "Kubachinsky Art Factory" LLC, Eteri Dalieva, founder of
the "Ettiko" jewelry brand, Nelly Badalyan, Deputy Director General
for Communications at non-profit organization "Creative Economy", and
others.
During the Open Conversation, it will be possible to ask
questions to the speakers. To participate in the event, application for accreditation is required.

On 3 September, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted the talk show "Creative Dagestan" as part of the Days of the Republic of Dagestan within the exposition "Region 2030. Platform of the Future".

From 1 to 7 September, the National Centre is hosting the Days of the Republic of Dagestan.
