Excellent roads and new points of attraction: Ivanovo region at the RUSSIA EXPO
The most beautiful railway station in Russia, the Volga pearl of Plyos, a Christmas fairy tale in the town of Shuya, two centers of lacquer miniatures and icon painting: Palekh and the ancient village of Kholui. Here you can taste more than 100 varieties of cheese and visit unusual gastronomic festivals.
Ivanovo region today is not only a land of chintz, brides and tourist heritage, but also the largest center of microelectronics production and modern event tourism. You can learn about all these areas at the region's stand at the RUSSIA EXPO.
The region's exposition introduces guests to new transport opportunities. Comfortable high-speed "Lastochka" trains connect Ivanovo with Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod. Daily flights to St. Petersburg have been established. Excellent roads open new points of attraction for motor travelers.
The guests of the stand can ride a bicycle along the landscaped embankments of beautiful Volga cities. Or "ride" to winter Shuya to the famous "Russian Christmas" festival.
In addition, visitors to the stand can create their own textile print with the help of patterns developed by Ivanovo designers especially for the RUSSIA EXPO.
