From the National Centre RUSSIA to Novosibirsk with the travel show "Fashionable Russia"
The National Centre RUSSIA has once again become a venue for creative filming: a new episode of the project "Fashionable Russia" has been released. The latest episode is dedicated to Novosibirsk, the main landmarks and attractions of which are widely represented at the exposition "Journey Across Russia" in the Siberian Federal District zone.
The atmosphere of Siberia at the National Centre RUSSIA is revealed in several expositions — from Manzherok to Novosibirsk. The new episode tells how ideas, brands and urban practices that change local culture, design and fashion trends are born on Siberian soil.
In the capital of the federal district, Novosibirsk, the creative community is building VR arenas "Other Worlds", already known in more than 50 countries. It is also home to the animation festival "DVIZH" ("Move") by the School of Creative Industries and the development of design at The Mill — a hub for architects and designers of Siberia. Fashion here is connected with nature: the episode features a collection by Novosibirsk designer Svetlana Shpadyreva, who creates pieces "with meaning". And, of course, viewers will learn about the tastes of Siberia: from grilled moose lip to the dessert "Siberian Bear" at the SibirSibir restaurant.
"Fashionable Russia" is a multi-format project about people from the regions who create fashion, design, technologies and creative spaces that transform cities for the better. The premiere episode was dedicated to Yekaterinburg. The first season will cover the following cities: Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Nalchik, Vladikavkaz, Makhachkala, Kislovodsk, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, and Kaliningrad. The starting point for the episodes was the space of the National Centre RUSSIA.
