Brave explorer, scientist or meteorologist: children choose a profession at VDNH
In Pavilion
No. 16 Prirodograd. City of Professions children from 6 to 14 years old can try
incredibly interesting occupations. They can study ecology and meteorological
phenomena, become a researcher of the South Pole and protect the planet from
global warming.
Careful
attitude to nature should be instilled from childhood. The Ministry of Natural
Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation is well aware of this, so
they have prepared a very interesting children's exposition for the RUSSIA
EXPO. But before embarking on an exciting journey, you need to put on a white
coat and special protective goggles made of recycled plastic.
In the
pavilion children are accompanied by guides. Young, active fellows easily find
an approach to young guests, tell a lot of interesting things and do not let
anyone get bored. The first hall is devoted to ecology. Here you can learn what
a carbon footprint is and why it is important to choose conscious consumption.
Children can conduct an experiment and calculate the carbon footprint of
various things, as well as their own, and most importantly find out how to
reduce its negative impact.
But equally
exciting activities await the young guests in other halls. The department
devoted to meteorology is one of the most interesting. Here you can create a
lightning, start a wind generator and feel its power while being completely
safe, learn why tornadoes and whirlwinds appear and how to hide from them.
One of the most interesting professions awaits the kids at the very end of the excursion. They will have to transform into explorers, visit the South Pole and find out what secrets the thousand-year-old ice holds in itself.
We would like to remind you that it is possible to get to the City of Professions absolutely free of charge, but it is necessary to register in advance.
The National Centre RUSSIA will host a series of presentations titled "Journey Across Russia's Gastronomic Festivals."
The National Centre RUSSIA today meets the needs of various professional communities for communication and exchange of experience.
During the tour of the expansive exposition, the Chairman of the Government highlighted the significance of the display.
